Lingua Ignota: “Perpetual Flame of Centralia”

Taking its title from a city in Central Pennsylvania that has had a coal fire burning beneath it since 1962, “Perpetual Flame of Centralia” is an uncanny, quietly-lavish aria. It’s the latest track that Lingua Igonata has shared from her forthcoming Sinner Get Ready LP, which she releases on August 6th. You can pre-order gold-vinyl, red-and-white-galaxy-vinyl and CD versions from her webstore, and it’s on Bandcamp, too.

Lingua Ignota: “Pennsylvania Furnace”

Haunting like a hymn spontaneously remembered and heavy, it resonates with history as its presence crackles like a fresh fire. “Pennsylvania Furnace” is the stirring, symphonic brand-new single from classically-trained musician Kristin Hayter, a.k.a. Lingua Ignota. Her Sinner Get Ready LP will be released by Sargent House on August 6th, and you can pre-order transparent-red-vinyl, black-vinyl and CD editions of it from her webstore now. The digital version meanwhile is available from Bandcamp.
