Like birdsong that calms as the Spring sun rises, “Coquelicot” is a naturally-sonorous collaboration between Laura Cahen and Yael Naim. The track appears on Ms. Cahen’s forthcoming Une Fille LP. Out from May 7th, you can pre-order vinyl, CD and digital editions of that from PIAS now.
I’ve learned so much about music from les Inrockuptibles over the years. My French, notoriously terrible, has improved a little bit from flipping though its pages — and now clicking though them of course — as well.
