Detroit, Michigan’s excellent Shadow Show have just and thankfully unleashed “Radiant Hue”, their blood-pumping, hip-shaking, sonically-adventuresome and powerful brand-new single. A spiked surge of honeyed melody and absinthe-soaked attitude, “SINISTER” is the pedal-effect doused, joyously-swirling newest single from Detroit’s Ally Evenson. You’ll find various streaming options for this here, and she has more music on Bandcamp as well.
From iconic Detroit, Michigan comes Katie Lass, and “Sunshine1(Headspunstar)” is a honeyed, absinthe-soaked, underground waking dream and her head-spinning new single. Her Hypnopomp LP is released through a collaboration between her hometown’s Remove Records and HHBTM on November 4th, and you can pre-order black- and green-vinyl versions of that today.
A haunting, heavy New Wave-inspire howl, “A Valentine” is the sizzling brand-new single from Detroit’s Chloë Drallos and her band Zilched. Out on Young Heavy Souls, you can find links for it here, and more of her music can be found on her Bandcamp page.
Poetic and pastoral, “Last Stand” is humane, literate and the affecting latest single from Detroit’s Libby DeCamp. All of the Bandcamp proceeds for the song will be donated to the Indigenous Environmental Network. Finally her debut album Westward and Faster will be released on May 21st.
