Its rhythms snapping inside an amber narcotic haze, “Watching Cartoons” is the hypnotic new single from Seattle’s La Luz. Girlpuppy: “Miniature Furniture”

Its sunny heart mournful at the edges, “Miniature Furniture” is the thoughtful, conversational and comforting new single from Atlanta’s Becca Harvey and her Girlpuppy project. Her debut EP Swan will be released by Royal Mountain Records on August 20th, and you can pre-order the CD edition of it from them now.
Jackson+Sellers is a brand-new musical partnership between longtime-TAR-favorite Jade Jackson and Nashville’s Aubrie Sellers, and “The Devil Is An Angel” is their high-octane, subtly-smart and searing new single. Their full-length debut Breaking Point will be released by Anti- on October 22nd.

Ashley Shadow is a wonderful musician from Vancouver, and “Don’t Slow Me Down” is a wide-angled, Western-sky-lit and classic-sounding duet with Bonnie “Prince” Billy. The towering track is taken from her just-announced and second LP Only The End. Asheville’s Karly Hartzman and her band Wednesday have revealed “How Can You Live If You Can’t Love How Can You If You Do”, a quiet, heartbreaking glory and their affecting newest single. Their Twin Plagues LP will be released by Orindal on August 13th. You can order Tiffany-blue-vinyl, black-vinyl and lime-green-cassette versions of it from them now, and it’s on Bandcamp, too.
